Reflection

Freshman seminar as a whole is a class that I honestly would not take again if given the option. Don't get me wrong I learned a multitude of life lessons from the lectures from Carr and Beatty, but I greatly disagreed with some of the others lectures. I feel that a small level of supremacy is what I heard and it bothered me. There would be lectures when whites were blatantly out down and I feel that w don't need to put down another race to raise ourselves up. There would be kids in the class who were of caucasian decent and I would just see the uncomfortable looks on their faces and that angered me a bit. Freshman seminar was sloppily put together and though the idea of the course is understandable it should have been structured better.
